“We are always amazed to learn how some salon staff members don’t wear eyewear,” said Jackie DeWald, EYE PRO office manager.  “Eye protection can be a difficult item to sell if your staff doesn’t understand how unprotected eyes can be damaged from UV exposure. Our new online training educates salon staff around the world on the dangers of not wearing eye protection in a fresh new way,” DeWald continued. “We also provide each participating salon with visual aids to graphically show what can happen when you don’t wear eye protection.”

If you have taken EYE PRO’s eye protection trainings before, you’ll find the 2018 training to be very different and helpful in educating clients AND staff in an entirely new way. “Eye burns are still the number one reason tanners seek medical attention after tanning,” said Brenda Fishbaugh, EYE PRO president. “Salon staff often tell me they have lost their night vision and color vision because they didn’t realize they needed to wear eye protection too. An educated staff will help educate your clients,” explained Fishbaugh. “That’s why it’s so important to have your staff take this new training, and then share what they learn with clients.”
